Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on Monday launched a 100% toll on imports of Chinese-made electrical vehicles, signing up with the United States and European Union in implementing larger duties.
The alternative was absorbed suggestions to what Ottawa acknowledged as an initiative by Chinese enterprise to provide a global surplus.
“Actors like China have chosen to give themselves an unfair advantage in the global marketplace,” Trudeau claimed at a cabinet convention in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
