Bain Capital sweetens proposal for Australia’s Insignia Financial to nearly $1.8 billion

(Reuters) – Australia’s Insignia Financial said on Monday, unique fairness firm Bain Capital has truly sweetened its proposal for the 178-year-old riches supervisor, presently valuing it at A$ 2.87 billion ($ 1.76 billion), weeks after Insignia turned down Bain’s earlier deal.

($ 1 = 1.6279 Australian bucks)
