Jaipur : Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma is on a go to to Japan and South Korea to ask buyers to the Rising Rajasthan Summit. Congress has raised questions on the CM’s international journey by accusing him of violating the circumstances of anticipatory bail granted within the Gopalgarh riots case. In this regard, Congress state president Govind Singh Dotasara and Leader of Opposition within the Assembly Tikaram Julie have issued a press release on the social media platform X, during which they’ve demanded a solution from the Chief Minister.

Govind Singh Dotasara wrote in a submit on X that “Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma is on bail since 2013 in a case registered by the CBI and the matter is currently pending in the court. By going abroad without seeking permission from the court, the Chief Minister has violated the bail conditions given by the court. This mistake committed by a person holding a responsible and constitutional post like the Chief Minister is serious.”

Conditional anticipatory bail granted on 10 September 2013: Leader of Opposition Tikaram Julie wrote in a submit on X that “It has come to light through the media that advocate Sanwar Chaudhary has filed a petition in the court stating that Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma has violated the conditions of anticipatory bail by traveling abroad without the permission of the court during the ongoing trial of FIR RC/05/SC-III/2011, PS CBI-III, New Delhi related to Gopalgarh riots. Bhajanlal was granted conditional anticipatory bail in this case on 10 September 2013.

Prohibition on going abroad without court permission: Julie further wrote, in this case, going outside the country’s border without the prior permission of the court is not allowed. But the Chief Minister has gone on a tour to South Korea and Japan without the court’s permission. If the Chief Minister himself plays with the law like this, what message will it send to the public. The Chief Minister should immediately put forth his stand clearly on this matter so that the truth can be revealed to the public.
