Dhaulpur: The farmers of the district have been the worst affected by this pure calamity. Waterlogging has occurred all around the district. Situations of protest have now arisen in rural areas. Farmers of villages are coming head to head over the difficulty of draining out water gathered within the fields. One such case was seen within the Sampu police station space on Sunday. The farmers of Mankara and Murali Basai villages burst out in anger over the water diverted in the direction of the crops. Hundreds of farmers armed with sticks blocked the Murali Basai activate the Sampu Basedi highway.

According to the knowledge, the farmers of Gadi Lajja, Pran Sukh Ka Nagla and Futa Ka Nagla reduce the highway resulting in Basai Murli and Mankara thrice in a row and drained the water into the fields. The farmers of Basai Murli and Mankara complained about this to the native police and administration. Tehsildar Rahul Kumar Dhakad reached the spot with the police pressure and likewise stopped the water drainage with the JCB machine. But the farmers of Gadi Lajja, Pran Sukh Ka Nagla and Futa Ka Nagla didn’t agree and once more reduce the water to the crop. Due to which the farmers of Basai Murli and Mankara burst out in anger.

Hundreds of farmers from each the villages reached Basai Murli Mod armed with sticks and blocked the highway. On listening to the information of the blockade, Tehsildar Rahul Kumar Dhakad reached the spot with the police pressure. When the administration cleared the blockade, there was an altercation with the farmers. Armed with sticks, the farmers stood in entrance of the police administration. There was a tussle between the farmers and the police administration for about 1 hour.

Tehsildar Rahul Kumar Dhakad pacified the matter by explaining to the farmers. The protesting farmers are demanding the arrest of the accused from Gadi Lajja, Pran Sukh Ka Nagla and Foot Ka Nagla. Dhakad stated that the water provide was stopped thrice together with the station in-charge Gambhir Singh. But each time the farmers diverted the water to the crops of the farmers of Basai Murli and Mankara. Due to which anger has been seen among the many farmers. He stated that motion might be taken in opposition to the farmers who reduce off the water provide to the crops.

Two youths have been overwhelmed up: About a dozen youths from Gadi Lajja, Pran Sukh Ka Nagla and Fute Ka Nagla had gone to chop the water provide for the crops on Sunday. During this, the farmers of Basai Murli and Mankara received a whiff of the matter and reached the spot armed with sticks. They thrashed two youths on the spot. Other individuals fled from the spot.
