Politics has heated up over the indecent conduct of Trinamool Congress MP Kalyan Banerjee (Kalyan Banerjee Suspended) within the assembly of the Joint Parliamentary Committee relating to the Waqf Amendment Bill. Kalyan Banerjee has been suspended from the Joint Parliamentary Committee on Waqf Bill for his indecent conduct within the assembly. Banerjee has been suspended until the following assembly. On the opposite hand, BJP leaders are demanding Congress and Indian alliance leaders to make clear their stand relating to this conduct of TMC MP.

He mentioned, “The way Kalyan Banerjee has behaved is not only an insult to parliamentary traditions, parliamentary institutions, the Constitution and constitutional arrangements but is also an insult to the trust of lakhs of voters who elected him to Parliament.”
He mentioned that such insult can’t be accepted in any respect in a democratic system. Shekhawat mentioned, “I want to ask all the leaders of Congress Party and Indi alliance what is their stand in this matter.”
He mentioned, “My challenge to all the parties from Rahul Gandhi to the ‘Indi’ alliance is to either deny this issue or answer the people of the country as to what they should do about such undemocratic behaviour. It’s the mentality.”
