Stone pelting over Dhuni Darshan
Due to which there was uproar for two days and even an incident of stone pelting was reported outside Udaipur City Palace on the first day. After the stone pelting, a receiver was immediately appointed to maintain law and order in the area from Badi Pol to Dhuni and Zanana Mahal. Along with this, Udaipur Collector Arvind Poswal imposed Section 163 (old Section 144) in Ghantaghar and Surajpol police station areas of the city on Tuesday (26 November) night.
Eklingnathji Temple and Udaipur City Palace are included in the Maharana Mewar Charitable Trust. The Trust had issued a notice on Sunday (November 24) prohibiting unauthorized entry into the City Palace and Eklingji Temple. At that time it was said that only authorized persons would be given entry, only authorized persons would be able to visit the temple. If anyone enters during a rally, creating ruckus or raising slogans, strict legal action will be taken against him. It is worth noting that this trust is run by Vishvaraj Singh Mewar’s uncle Arvind Singh Mewar. Arvind Singh Mewar is the father of Lakshyaraj Singh and brother of Mahendra Singh Mewar.
