Additional Superintendent of Police Sumit Kumar mentioned that villagers protesting towards the land acquired for a cement manufacturing unit in Sarasani village pelted stones on the police. Rashtriya Loktantrik Party president and Nagaur MP Hanuman Beniwal accused the District Superintendent of Police of taking cash from the corporate. Beniwal wrote on ‘X’, “For the past several days, farmers have been sitting on a democratic protest against the arbitrary will of the cement company on the outskirts of Sarasani village in Nagaur district. The party always stands with the farmers to take action against the policemen who lathi-charged the farmers and to fight for their rights.”
