Jaipur: Rajasthan Agriculture Department has launched the newest information of sowing areas of Rabi crops 2024-25. Some crops are forward of final 12 months and a few are behind. Sowing of wheat and barley has gone forward of final 12 months.
Whereas the sowing of mustard and gram has lagged behind final 12 months. Due to excessive warmth this season, sowing has been affected. There are complaints of mustard and gram vegetation getting burnt because of the warmth throughout the day. Due to lack of DAP, sowing can also be being affected.
Sowing information of crops launched to this point:
– Wheat sowing solely 3.34 p.c in opposition to goal
– Barley sowing 11.57 p.c in opposition to goal
– Sowing of gram is 42.49 p.c in opposition to the goal.
– Mustard sowing 56.12 p.c in opposition to goal
Sowing of Taramira is eighteen.57 p.c in opposition to the goal.
In Rajasthan, the entire sowing has been 30.57 p.c in opposition to the goal.
